Decorative Upcycled Toilet Paper Roll Flowers
Upcyle that empty toilet paper roll into this gorgeous decorative paper roll flowers project! A great way to add beauty to your spring or daily craftworks.
Materials
Empty toilet paper or paper towel roll (1 per flower)
Dowel or wooden skewer
Pink craft paint
Green craft paint
Button (I used white)
Tools
Craft glue or hot glue gun and glue
Scissors
Instructions
1,Paint one of your toilet paper rolls pink on the inside and outside of the roll then set aside to dry;
2,Do the same with another roll, only painting half of it in green;
3,Using the same green paint, coat a dowel or skewer and set aside to dry;
4,Once the roll has dried, flatten the pink roll and measure out 6 equal portions then cut apart;
Do the same with the green roll, but only cut out 2 equal pieces to use for leaves;
5,Attach the pink pieces together using craft glue to form a flower shape;
Glue a button to the center of the flower;
6,Attach the green pieces to one end of the dowel/skewer and hold until secure;
7,Now, glue the skewer in place on the center of the flower to create a stem;
Display as desired!
