Butterfly Crown
Craft an easy springtime crown adorned with colorful paper butterflies.
SUPPLIES NEEDED
Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Scissors
STEPS
1. Make some paper butterflies
Draw some butterfly shapes in different size on the
color paper, you could choose a small size and a big size. So you could put the the small one on the big one to make the butterfly more vivid. Do not forget to add eyes and print for the butterfly.
2. Cut out and make the butterflies.
Cut out the butterflies.
And stick the small size butterfly on the big size butterfly by
glue gun and glue sticks.
3. Create a band.
Cut out a 1-inch wide strip of long enough to go around your head.
4. Start gluing the butterflies on the srtip.
Glue the first butterfly an inch from one end of the band. You only need to glue the middle section of the butterfly.
Keep the wings free of glue so they pop out nicely when you wear the crown.
Glue the second butterfly beside the first. It's okay to slightly overlap its wings with those of the first butterfly.
5. Glue all the butterflies.
Continuing gluing the butterflies. Leave at least a 1-inch margin at the opposite end of the band.
6. Glue the ends together.
Glue the ends of the band together to complete your crown. Once the glue dries, try on your lovely butterfly crown!
