Quilling paper art 

 

Quilling paper also known as roller paper, is a simple and practical art of living. Through curling, bending, and pinching, slender paper is rolled into small parts, so that the small parts are combined into works full of design. Today I met a kid who really wanted to learn quilling paper, here is how to use the common tools of quilling paper.
 

 

Paper width: 

For beginners, it is recommended to use a paper strip with a width of 5 mm. If it is a child, the paper strip is wider and needs to be 5mm or 6mm in hand. The width of 5 to 6 mm is also suitable for making free-standing quilling works and tassel flowers. Strips of paper with a width of 7 mm or 10 mm are usually used to make tassels, leaves or some independent works. In order to add a sense of layering to the work, a smaller paper roll is placed on a layer of paper roll, and a paper strip with a width of 1.5 mm or 2 mm will be used.

 

 

The weight of the paper: 

The paper is too light to hold the shape you want. If you have a problem that the paper roll is difficult to form, it must be the weight of the paper you selected. The number of grams is mostly in the range of 120g-180g.
