Thermal sublimation transfer printing principle and advantages

 

Sublimation generally goes through three processes: before the transfer process, all the dye is in the film on the paper, the dye concentration in the printed fabric and the air gap is zero, the size of the air gap depends on the fabric structure, yarn count and transfer pressure;In the transfer process, when the paper reached the transfer temperature, the dye began to volatilize or sublimate, and formed a concentration of volatilization between the paper and the fiber. When the printing fabric reached the transfer temperature, the dye adsorption began on the fiber surface, until it reached a certain saturation value.Since the transfer of dye from paper to fiber is continuous, the adsorption rate depends on the rate of dye diffusion into the fiber.In order to make the dye directional diffusion, the lower side of the dye is often vacuumed to make the dye directional diffusion transfer.After the transfer process, the dye content on the paper decreases after the dye is colored, and part of the remaining dye is transferred to the inside of the paper. The amount of residual dye depends on the vapor pressure of the dye, the affinity of the dye to the paste or transfer paper and the thickness of the printing film.Sublimation method generally does not need to go through wet treatment, can save energy and reduce the load of sewage treatment.
